"Life is too short for bad coffee." 

Something about a freshly brewed warm cup of coffee just completely sets me in the right mood. I have quickly become one of those people that cannot function without my coffee in the morning (wow I sound so basic, but I'm okay with it). One of my all time favorite things is waking up, throwing on sweats or workout clothes, hair in bun, hat and sunglasses on and getting outside into the fresh air to go to Starbucks. I think it's also the idea that I'm starting off my day surrounded by others doing the same thing. It's that sense of community I enjoy. Yes, it's more expensive than regular coffee at home but for me personally, it's worth it. 

With all that being said, I need my coffee to be SOMEWHAT "healthy". I use quotes because some people say "that's not healthy" but compared to a Whipped cream, sugary frapp something or other... YES MINE IS! Here are my top 3 go-to healthier Starbucks orders. 



1.) Blonde Cappuccino, 2 shots espresso, almond milk, regular foam, steamed
  • This is my version of a Vanilla Latte. It tastes basically the same, but it has way less calories and carbs.
  • Of the 3 listed below, this however is the highest in carbs and calories (but still it's not that bad). I probably have this drink about 3 or 4 times a week.

​2.) Venti Caffe Misto, 2 pumps of sugar free vanilla, almond milk steamed, but extra foam 
  • YASS! Love this drink, it's very similar in taste to the one listed above but a little healthier.
  • NEED ENERGY? This one has 195mg Caffeine so if you need a little extra help in the AM. Here ya go...

​3.) Pike Place Roast, splash almond milk, 1 shot espresso, 1 packet stevia ​​
  • Last but certainly not least...  this one is a must to have written down (so write this down haha). I get this on days I'm trying to be "clean". It has 0 extra sugar (except for the dash of almond milk & Stevia) but still has a little yummy flavor. It's also only 5 calories. Like what? Sign me up! If I'm feeling bloated, or gross from eating too much or bad foods the night before and want to watch my calories... I get this drink!
